SOLID SPACE is a Stockholm-based architecture and design studio founded by architect and designer Desiré Apelgren.

The studio works across architecture, interiors and furniture, with projects ranging from private houses and apartment renovations to installations and objects. Our work moves between scales, but is always rooted in a close understanding of space, material and the people who inhabit it.

We believe in clear ideas, honest materials and design made to last. Each project is developed in close dialogue with its context and the people it is made for, with an interest in how spaces and objects can shape movement, relationships and everyday life.
